This transformation started with a customized curly cut—designed specifically for how her natural texture lives and moves. I cut curl by curl, shaping each section dry to build a balanced silhouette, remove weight where needed, and create soft, bouncy layers that enhance definition without disrupting the curl pattern. The goal is always effortless movement and a shape that grows out beautifully.

We paired it with an all-over rich red-purple for depth, shine, and vibrancy ❤️‍🔥

For styling, I worked in 3 sections—starting with Aveda Be Curly Prep for hydration and a strong foundation, followed by Be Curly Gel. I brushed each section through for even distribution, then finger coiled the front while shaping the back. Diffused with my Dyson for volume and definition, then went back in to separate and refine each curl.
