How are your interactions with your dog ? Are you an enabler or a restrictor ?
Control and boundaries are very important however you must put money in the bank before withdrawing it. I want to meet the dog where they are and I also want to respect each dogs personality before asking too much from them or attempting to modify behavior.
A neutral dog is priceless, however I want to allow their natural expressions as well and build the relationship initially around that.
