A Note From Us To You -

Thankfully, the summer of 2021 is finally here. We hope you and your families are well and feeling optimistic about the year ahead - we certainly are! However, we do have some bittersweet news to share.

While the past 14 months have been like none before, we've made it to the other side thanks to a lot of hard work, humor and perspective. It's also given us time to be reflective and think about our future opportunities both at Bantam and beyond. After much thought, we have decided it’s the right time, in fact, the perfect time, for us to graciously say goodbye to Bantam Cider. We make this decision with great satisfaction knowing that for ten years we’ve had a memorable journey, only made possible by a truly great team of employees, brand ambassadors, suppliers, distributors, retail accounts and amazing fans who have visited our taproom and enjoyed our cider over the years. We accomplished what we set out to do, and more, and we’re now excited to explore a new chapter.

All businesses face tough decisions and 2020 added new challenges to the mix. There are many factors that have shaped our decision, but one really does stand above the rest. You see, our little idea which grew into Bantam Cider was based on the principle that we would make the best cider using the using the highest quality ingredients, and processes. We’ve always stayed true to this and it's always served us well. But as we look into the future, and having recently evaluated various scenarios, we understand now more than ever before, that we would ultimately need to make some compromises to continue to grow. The most obvious would have us rethink our choice of ingredients and processes to reduce our expensive production costs. While this could be a savvy business decision, it just isn’t something we want to do, nor is it something we're willing to hand off to someone else to do. In fact, we believe it's the kind of compromise that would kill what we've always considered the ethos of Bantam. And faced with this as an inevitable predicament, we've decided to retire Bantam Cider as it is today, something we're proud of. So, it’s out of respect for the path we’ve taken and all of the great people along the way who have made Bantam what it is, that we are choosing to hang our hats, heads held high, grateful for all of the support we've been given along the way, and the amazing ride it's been. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

And as a practical note, if you want some of our final case product, it will be available in retail stores for a few more months until it's no longer available. And then, as mysteriously as we appeared in the market nearly ten years ago, we will mysteriously be gone. Thank you for the support!

Today is the day! Ordering for curbside pick up will be available until end of day today ( Monday March 22nd). Orders may get picked up anytime this week, Monday through Friday from 12pm until 4pm. We hope to see you! ❤️
