Catch you on the other side of Lent.

Lent starts this Wednesday and my cousin Mariah got me started giving up Facebook for Lent. I thought that was a good idea and I'll continue that but I'm also going to give up watching the news and looking at the news on line. It's full of fear and is frankly embarrassing. I know what I am going to vote for and looking at these representatives who are acting like children fighting for an ice cream sandwich, I can't help but feel there are no role models among them. Well, maybe a few but only a few. I'm also going to be clean and sober. I don't really have a problem but I do like the term "Clean and Sober". Michael Keaton did a film of that title years ago, it was one of his best performances. So don't look for me after Wednesday. I might come back after Easter. Maybe.
