Soulful Kitchen was established in 2017 when Laquisha embarked on her professional cooking journey.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 large eggs
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
Directions
Make a well in the flour and add the eggs, salt, and olive oil.
Mix until a dough forms.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Divide into 4 pieces and roll out thin.
Cut into your favorite pasta shape, such as fettuccine, tagliatelle, or lasagna sheets.

What an incredible experience at the American Culinary Federation Convention!
I truly enjoyed all five days of learning, networking, and, of course, enjoying some amazing food. I leave this convention with a renewed sense of purpose, a greater passion for my craft, and as a better chef than when I arrived.
The connections I made with talented chefs from around the world were truly inspiring and reminded me of the power of our culinary community. I also had a wonderful time at the Gala celebrating excellence in our profession.
Congratulations to Travis Johnson on receiving the Cutting Edge Award—such a well-deserved honor!
