Congratulations to our graduating chief resident, Dr. Alexia Stamatiou, on matching into the Advanced Microsurgery & Peripheral Nerve Surgery Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School.

Throughout her residency, Alexia has demonstrated dedication and a commitment to advancing the field of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. We are proud of this achievement and excited to see her continue her training at one of the nation’s premier microsurgery programs.

Today we had an amazing Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds with Dr. Onelio Garcia Jr., MD, FACS with a deep dive into Acellular Dermal Matrices in Breast Reconstruction: exploring integration processes, capsular contracture management, and the latest techniques shaping patient outcomes.
