Two new PhD openings as part of the Global PhD Partnership program between KU Leuven (Belgium) and Melbourne University (Australia): our project will aim at tackling the membrane performance and process limitations of Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs) for CO2 conversion. We have a truly strong, interdisciplinary and international team: Prof. Xing Yang, Prof. Ivo Vankelecom, Dr. George Chen and Dr. Mengran Li, covering expertise in membrane fabrication, transport phenomena through membranes, process design and Membrane Electrode Assemblies for electrolysers.
In addition, the international mobility will be a unique enriching experience during your PhD. We look forward to receiving applications from high calibre candidates (due on 30 August).
Note: applying either from KU Leuven or Melbourne University side is perfect. You do not need to repeat the application. Pls indicate your preference of location/project in the motivation letter!
