Mark your calendars! The Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 23 at the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm! From 9 a.m. to noon you can shop with confidence from the experts who truly know their plants.

What will be available?
- A wide selection organic vegetable seedlings, herb and annual seedlings, and native and pollinator plants
- Bags of local compost
- Gently used garden tools and supplies
- Tool sharpening by Wicked Sharp
- Friendly, knowledgeable Master Gardener Volunteers ready to answer questions and help you choose the right plants
- Maine Maple Creemee serving up sweet treats!

Proceeds from the sale directly support community-based horticulture projects which rely on the expertise and volunteer time of Master Gardener Volunteers. Every purchase helps strengthen local food security and bring gardening education to communities across Cumberland County.

UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm are located at 200 Presumpscot Point Rd in Falmouth.

The 2025 season at Crystal Spring Farm reminded us why hosting our Market on conserved land matters and why we’re thinking ahead about how it can grow with our community. From new vendors to sheep shearing, a wildly popular bagel bakeoff, and some exceptionally rainy Saturdays, this season was full of connection, resilience, and local food joy. And through POP Club, Maine Senior Farmshare, and SNAP, and Harvest Bucks, thousands of dollars went straight to local farmers while helping families and individuals access fresh, local food.💚

A very big thank you to all our amazing vendors, volunteers, musicians, and shoppers who help co-create this wonderful gathering, celebrating and supporting our local food economy each week.

We will not be at the market at Crystal Spring Farm on Saturday November 1st as it will be to windy to set and use my tools. We look forward to seeing you starting next Saturday at the Brunswick Winter Market. We will be there on Saturdays all winter. Except the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

We’re not accepting items for sharpening as we’re doing our annual shop deep cleaning and machine repair. We will be accepting new orders starting June 28. Back at the market on schedule June 28th.
