Hello!! We are looking for someone to round out our small but mighty savory/deli team. We make incredible sandwiches both for breakfast and lunch, quiche, salads and so much more…this is great opportunity for a creative team player who loves food and community. Ideally we are looking for full time Wednesday through Sunday but part time is an option….weekends are required. Hours are 6am - 2pm.

I don’t - at all- have the right words to address the horror happening in our country and in our community right now, everything I try to write feels trite, mildly hysterical, too much….maybe not enough. There is a deep sinking pit of despair that lodges itself in my belly every time I type out a sentence that tries to sum up the outrage and frustration. But here is what I have:

Since we opened in 2004 our values at the bakery have been rooted in community, love and food. We have always held that during the hardest times we hope to provide a small port in the storm where there are smiles and something good to eat and/or drink. For us…. baking for you…. is what brings meaning and connection. With this in mind we will be open on Friday January 30th and we will be donating 100% of our daily sales to , and , three organizations that are working directly to aid the immigrant community here in Maine.

We fully support all of our fellow businesses who will be closed for the strike and It is our deepest hope that all of our collective actions will push the needle forward in getting ICE out of Maine and help us all work towards a future that celebrates a diverse vibrant community.
