Meet Clove — a beautiful little shepherd mix with a gentle soul and the sweetest heart you could imagine. At approximately 30 pounds, Clove is the perfect medium-sized companion: small enough to curl up beside you, but big enough for adventures, playtime, and endless games of fetch in the yard. Clove will only be considered for a home that has another friendly dog living in the home.
Clove can be a shy girl when meeting new people and experiencing new things, but underneath that cautious exterior is a loving, playful pup just waiting to blossom. She absolutely adores other dogs and truly shines in their company. In fact, Clove would do best in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help show her the world is a safe and happy place.   She will only be considered for a home with another friendly dog. Watching her gain confidence through canine friendship is something truly special.
This sweet girl has a playful side that comes alive outdoors. Clove loves running around outside, exploring the yard, and playing with her toys — especially balls, which may very well be her greatest joy in life. Toss a ball her way and you’ll see her happy, carefree spirit peek through more and more each day.
Clove is also doing wonderfully with crate training and is working hard on her house training. She’s the kind of dog who just needs a little patience, encouragement, and love to continue growing into the incredible companion she’s meant to be.
With her soft eyes, tender personality, and quiet devotion, Clove is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and loves with her whole heart once she feels safe. She may start out shy, but for the lucky family willing to give her time and understanding, Clove will be the most loyal and loving best friend imaginable.

We had such a great time meeting the community, sharing our pups’ stories, and helping raise funds to support our rescue mission. A special thank you to Rita’s for going the extra step and treating our furry friends to some pup-friendly ice cream to help them cool down. They absolutely loved it! 🍦🐶
