We wrapped up Session One of our reading camp today and there is still one more session this summer with a couple spaces available! 📖

Perfect for kids ages 6-9 who need a little boost in confidence, reading practice, and to practice foundational skills! It’s such a great opportunity guided by a certified and very experienced 1st grade teacher!

My favorite kind of learning! 🧠

Materials available, freedom to explore, time to play, and room to experiment—it’s the best!

All of our classes have this sort of component to them, usually upon arrival and during the first part of class. It allows children to settle in, and as teachers, it gives us time to check in and get a feel for the mood(s) in the room—the cautious and hesitant ones, the wild ones, the new students, and the ones who have been here a million times. Everyone benefits!

There is so much to learn through this kind of intentional play. 🥰
