No child should go hungry We envision children going home to a place that has food available to eat on the weekend, a book to read and an opportunity to grow in leadership and give back.

Let us all be in prayer for those who were injured in the Colorado shooting and for the families who are grieving the loss of loved ones. God, we pray for healing.

Dear Youth and Parents,
We are all very saddened to hear of the passing of Clyde Carter. He was a very special friend to our youth. He loved us all and New Horizon and was always here to support us. Our Sunday schedule will change a bit this week. I am asking youth to come and help with the setup for the funeral services. We will be setting the sanctuary after the 11:00 am service on Sunday. (Make sure to have a change of clothes for the funeral or come dressed for the funeral (Sunday best –for Clyde). There will be the viewing from 1PM-2PM and the funeral service at 2PM. Following the funeral will be a lunch. I am asking that we attend Clyde’s funeral and lunch as a group to show our love for him and also be available to help in any way we are needed for the day. All youth and families are asked to bring a covered dish for the lunch there will be no youth dinner Sunday night. Youth will continue after clean up until 7PM. Pick up this week will be 7PM. Youth will end at 7PM and our time this week will be focused on the Celebration of Clyde’s life.
Blessings!
