We are a family of three that started out with three chickens. We are still a family of three but now have 30 chickens. They are our pets. They all have names. When the ladies are done laying, they live out their retirement with us.
No chicken is ever eaten!!!
They are fed only organic feed and our organic left overs. They are pasture raised and able to forge as they feel. They are locked up at night, only after they put themselves up to roost. This is for their safety. When the sun rises, they are unlocked to live their chicken lives.
