๐ŸŽถThe bitch is back!๐ŸŽถ
(Elton John reference, anyone??)

Dahlia season is HERE and I could not be happier. Just look at this beautiful lady!!! Last season I was overloaded with deep corals and oranges and yellows, so when it was tuber buying time I went hard on blush and pink tones. So far, I have no regrets ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป.

This season, more than any others, I am trying to connect directly to florists. In my interactions with them, it seems like the hardest part is "translation"; when florists are used to ordering only certain varieties bc that's what their supplier has, but I don't grow that particular variety. We then move the conversation to color pallets instead of variety, but there is a lot of googling and it takes more time (which neither of us has!).

So I will be featuring each variety on my socials and (soon to be) website, to try and simplify the conversation. It will also help in the late fall/early spring when I am preparing the tuber sale.
