Golden Mountain Speedway has announced the cancellation of the remainder of its 2026 racing season.

In a statement released Friday, the Waters family cited rising operational costs, employee shortages, equipment issues and the challenges of balancing the speedway with full-time jobs, family responsibilities and other business ventures.
