During Juneteenth week, we honor Black history while recognizing the ongoing disparities that impact Black women and the need for continued awareness, prevention, and support.

• More than 40% of Black women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime, compared to 1 in 4 women overall.
• More than 20% of Black women will experience sexual violence in their lifetime.

These statistics remind us that equity, safety, and support must remain at the center of our work, not only during Juneteenth, but throughout the year.
