Speedway Trails

We are out at High School Rd welcoming 500+ bikers into Speedway. Amazing the difference of this crossing in 4 years. Beautiful day for the B&O Trail Association Bike Tour.

*Please note: increased bicycle traffic will be present on the B&O Trail and at Leonard Park on Saturday, June 13th due to the B&O Bicycle Tour!*

The B&O Trail Association and Speedway Trails upcoming B&O Bicycle Tour will ride east on the B&O Trail to Leonard Park in Speedway to see the new section of trail that has been added. Leonard Park Shelter 1 will also be serving as a supply & gear stop for bicyclists registered for this event.

The P&E trail will be available to park for the Grand Prix, Qualifying, Carb Day and Race Day. Due to our limited number of volunteers, we cannot offer pre-paid parking for race day. See below for dates, hours, and rates. You can enter the trail at Winton. Race Day usually fills up to Lynhurst by 9:00AM, at that point we will have cars enter the trail off Lynhurst. May 9th (Grand Prix), Open at 7:30 AM, $20
May 16th (Qualifying), Open at 7:30 AM, $20 for Saturday /Sunday
May 17th (Pole Day), Open at 9:30, $20
May 22nd (Carb Day), Open at 7:30 AM, $20
May 24th (Indy 500), Open at 5:00, $40 on all sections

April 25th: Greater Indy Trailways is sponsoring trail mixers throughout the city. Speedway Parks & Recreation B&O Trail Friends and Volunteers and B&O Trail Association are putting on some fun events on Saturday. Visit https://thetrailways.com/trailmixer/april-25/ for more info on each event

April 29th: Get ready for a exciting Fun Run/Walk with Speedway Running Club heading west on the B&O. Meet at 6:00 at Daredevil Brewing/

April 30th: Prepare the P&E for May. We will decorate the entrance of Winton, go over parking logistics, enjoy race themed cookies. Meet at 6:00 at the Winton entrance of the P&E trail.
