It's officially spring and I'm celebrating finishing my first 2026 project. This piece was started before my dad passed, and completing it feels like a new beginning. Here's to getting my creative juices flowing again. Link in bio to my yquilldesigns.com!

This piece was started a week before my dad's passing, and I am still at his house, a week later, at the same early morning hour when he left us. Quilling, which usually brings me solace, feels challenging. To find some calm, I bought paint supplies and started experimenting. I'm not skilled at painting, but the process soothes me. I'll incorporate the painted paper into this piece, but the outcome is uncertain. Through quilling, I hope to find peace and create something meaningful. Dad, I miss you.
