Do you need a hug?
Are we teaching our kiddos safety with kindness? Spending a lot of time in Dr office and now the hospital, you can see, feel, be overwhelmed with the sadness. The people working there are exposed EVERY DAY! I get we are on our own journeys, but teach your kiddos to recognize those with broken hearts. Teach them safety First always!! But teach them COMPASSION/EMPATHY!! “How do you think that person feels? Why do you think that: no smile, tears. How do you think we can make them smile?” Make sure they ask permission, but even just a child going up to someone they don’t know and saying, “Hi” or “Hope you have a great day!” Or “Can I give you a hug?” Could make that persons whole week! Be kind even when you may be on a hard journey. Leave them with a smile of their own and a sparkle in their day/heart!
