A Haiku is a poetic form created by the japanese that focuses on vivid imagery. It follows a 5/7/5 syllable count and does not typically rhyme. I’ve listed an example of one that I made.

A Limerick is a humorous poetic form that is five lines long in which the first, second, and fifth lines have one rhyme, while the third and fourth another. A Diminishing Poem is a poetic form that uses whatever word you end a line with. The next line should end with that same word minus 1 letter, and so on.

Below I’ve posted an example of what I like to refer to as a ‘Diminishing Limerick’.
