I have been putting off posting this for awhile now, but have received several emails and DMs asking about the flower cart and flower CSA for this year. This season, I am taking a necessary break from the farming part of flowers.
To be as brief as possible, this last year and a half has brought a huge amount of change in my life, and while ultimately a good thing, has left me very tired. I have not been up for or even able to wrap my brain around planning, buying, seeding, growing… all the things that are needed for beautiful flowers to grow and sell. I have decided to take space away from farming for this season, and just enjoy the flowers that happen to grow on the farm. I will still post all the pretty flowers I find here or wherever else I wander, so I hope that you continue to follow this page for the flower photos and of course poetry 💗
I am so grateful for all of you who have been eagerly awaiting the return of the flower cart and flower CSA, and I hope to offer both of those again in the future. Please continue to support local growers- they are all around!

Taking the time to focus on what I am grateful for today 🧡

Heirloom Chrysanthemum of the spider mum type. This is my first year growing these and to be honest, I planted them in the hoophouse long ago, pinched them once, and then when the tomatoes and tomatillos became a jungle and took over the entire hoophouse, I totally forgot about them. Somehow they survived and when the tomatoes and tomatillos died, the mums poked their budded heads up and through. They are definitely not the healthiest plants after being stifled all summer, but almost all survived and are beginning to bloom. There’s a metaphor for my life somewhere in there, I think.
