I’ve won a few things, but it always felt like I was cheating when the talented Kevin Eslinger shot and edited stories with me during my time in Boise. It was sorta like being a point guard with Shaq down in the paint - a teammate like that guarantees success regardless of my own doing.
I learned a whole hell of a lot from him; though, at my best I’m still a meager imitation. Not sure that whole “imposter syndrome” thing ever goes away.
Hope I made you proud, Kev. Thanks for all the help all those years.

Really enjoyed putting this one together. I met Nick on an 'emergency backup' story a few months ago - only to find one of the most heart-touching stories on the horizon.
Weekdays, he's thinning wildfire fuels with Spokane Fire. But his weekends are spent in the shop on a business of his own.
It's more than just a side hustle, this is his 'livelihood.'
