Light In Mirrors

Light in Mirrors turns 10 this month! Wow! I don’t think when we started this band a decade ago that we thought we’d still be doing this all these years later. We’ve all grown so much personally and musically, and we’ve been through many life changes together.

We want to thank everyone who’s supported us along the way. Thank you to our partners who are the real MVPs. The ones who show up over and over, help load the van, work the merch table, provide encouragement, and let us make a racket in their home every week.

Thank you to our friends and family and anyone that has come to a show, bought a shirt, streamed a song, or sang along.

We also want to thank all the great bands we’ve played with, all the “sound guys”, and all the people behind the scenes that keep local music alive. Light in Mirrors has had the privilege to play some amazing shows and community events over the years, and we are truly grateful!

We continue because we have fun and we love making music. See you soon!

This Friday (2/20) Light in Mirrors opens the night for Red Not Chili Peppers at the Knitting Factory [Spokane]. There’s still some tickets left, so grab them while you can! Can’t wait to see you there.

Last week’s show at The Big Dipper Spokane was such a good time! That place never disappoints, great people, great sound, and always a few new friends by the end of the night. 🎤✨

"Memories" drifts through a shadowed corridor of time-where past thoughts distort and resurface like echoes in a shifting dreamscape. This instrumental was built on a foundation of heavy, gritty sub bass and fractured electronic textures, the track pulses with a dark, introspective energy.

Layers of modulating ambience twist and unravel, merging analog warmth with digital decay. Choppy, stuttered guitars cut through the fog like fragments of clarity, while soaring leads briefly illuminate the weight of reflection before fading back into the static. It's progressive yet grounded-never rushing, always evolving.

This is not nostalgia for comfort, but an exploration of how memory distorts, refracts, and reshapes what we hold onto. "Memories" isn't about looking back with longing it's about confronting the distortion, and feeling the gravity of what remains.
