If you are interested in applying for the Cultural Diversity Advocate 2014-2015 leadership position, the online application will be available on Feb. 17 (application deadline closes in two weeks). This is an opportunity to participate in residence hall leadership in a unique role. The CDAs step forward in advocacy of using our similarities and our differences as people as an important aspect of relationship and community building. Sometimes people cannot pin point what exactly that the CDAs do - they just know they are generous-spirited folk who support, encourage and affirm you and many others.

This course is open to all students. By the end of the course the student will have increased their understanding in: -How Asian American identity is constructed -What is the portrayal of Asian Americans -What are the cultural expectations, assumptions, and impact on Asian Americans and on the 'other' -How is identity being redefined?
