Spokane Aids Network and Spokane Pride are coming together to create a new community center.

Yesterday, our community lost someone truly irreplaceable.

Jonathan Shuffield was a friend, a mentor, a chosen brother, and a bright light in every room he entered. Whether behind a microphone, on stage, or simply sharing space with those he loved, he brought laughter, warmth, and a sense of belonging that so many of us needed more than words can express.

He had that rare gift of making people feel seen. A quick wit, a generous heart, and a smile that seemed to say, “you’re safe here.”

Our LGBTQIA+ community is stronger because of him. Kinder because of him. Braver because of him.

We will carry his spirit forward—in the way we show up for each other, in the joy we refuse to let go of, and in the love we continue to build together.

Rest easy, dear friend. You will always be part of this family. 💙

We're selling Pride Flags, giving away plants, and having a potluck today from 1pm to 4pm at the SAN Pride Center!!! Stop by and hang with some cool people and get some supplies to make our community extra rainbow this PRIDE season!!!

Help us block the haters!!! We are raising money to buy and color new wings for the Peace Angels of Spokane. They block the people protesting Spokane Pride every year.
