Here we go a class that hasn’t been locked up yet but it’s gotten closer for Daniel Price. We all thought it
was going to come down to who could win out the season but it has now become who can finish second.
Daniel now has a one point advantage over Brandon Gummere in second. Brandon does still hold the tie
breaker but he now needs to outscore Daniels second place point scores he has banked up. Which is going to be a tall order when Douglas has finally found his pace in his F1 car with back to back TQ and win nights.

Douglas Hobbs has done what he needed to do to secure the third and final podium position. While it’s
not in cement it’s gotten closer. Another TQ and win Saturday night will lock that third and final podium
spot up.

Adam Hunt now ten points back from third has fallen into the jaws of Forrest Baxter. Adam had the advantage early in the season but that momentum has now swung into Forrest’s direction. Adam will look to swing some of that momentum back in his favor this Saturday and try to make sure he holds onto the 4th place in the championship.

Doug Hunt sits in sixth kind of in no man’s land, to far behind Forrest and unless he completely falls apart he should be safe from an attack from Casey Belarde. That being said things happen as they did the last two races Doug has attended have been rough to say the least. So keep an eye if his mechanic can keep his car running for him. (That one is on me 😂 )

Casey Belarde one point up on Gabe Baxter as we head into the race weekend. Gabe was battling with
Cheyenne Goodman but finally Gabe was able to outscore her by more than just a single point and has and advantage of three points currently over Cheyenne. Don’t thinks it’s over for Cheyenne though it is her turn to outscore Gabe. We’ll be sure to watch this one Saturday and going into the final night of racing action.

Justin Dunagan is or final car in the top ten and can’t really go forward or backwards. Seven points behind Cheyenne and eight points up on Katelyn Baxter.

Eleven cars will qualify for points this year which is an improvement from last year as F1 continues to grow for us. Probably the most challenging cars to drive with a tiny setup window it comes down to the driver a lot of the time and who can lay the power down smoothly and efficiently but also don’t build to much grip in or you’re going to be traction rolling out of the track. So if you’re looking for something that will challenge on the bench and on the track next year this would be the spot you want to look at. Don’t let it scare you though the F1 guys are always willing to help you sort your car out!

With only one class to go and one more sleep to race day Friday looks to be a little bit sweeter.
