West of the Sandifur pedestrian bridge, looking south/southwest toward Peoples Park.
Peoples Park was an interesting place, and during public safety responses or random police patrols, Peoples Park had some very interesting people making contact with public safety/police responders (District 10).
Peoples Park was a highlighted area during EXPO 74.
What an interesting/entertaining place over many years...

I was tempted to walk in to the main entry doors at the Parsons building, but it has been years since I worked in my office at the Crime Prevention Center, 1201 W First. Long after my police car parking only sign was removed, it was obvious that this neighborhood had changed since I worked down there.
I can't say I miss any of yesteryears problems down there, but I won't ever forget the police history in that neighborhood.

Every month or two, it is a challenge to use only one lens or camera that I never normally use, for a single days photos. On this day, it was (GoPro Max2 360). Getting to interesting locations is the easy part, using the 360 camera isn’t. Yet, generating some abstract features is just a little strange, but I have to do it for the entire shoot downtown… (Until the next months photo challenge)
So, you may recognize the locations, but they may look more than a little different.
