EMERGENCY ROOF REPAIRS FOR HOMEOWNERS
The Hernando County Housing Authority with funding from Hernando County’s State Housing Incentives Partnership (SHIP) program is currently accepting applications from Hernando County homeowners who have been notified by their Homeowner Insurance carrier that they must have their roof replaced or face the loss of their homeowner’s insurance. The Emergency Roof Repair program provides a twenty-year zero interest-deferred loan of up to $15,000.00 to qualified homeowners to replace their roof.
To qualify for this program a homeowner must be current on their property taxes, mortgage payments and the home must be the homeowner’s primary residence. Homeowners must meet the following gross income guidelines (Income guidelines include the income of all household members 18 years or older). ;
1-person household $30,450
2-person household $34,800
3-person household $39,150
4-person household $43,450
