Well it’s a sad day for Mr. Moley Man, as he is being es**rted off the premises. A playground is no place for a Mole, and the last thing we want is a twisted ankle ! Moles naturally aerate the soil, which is great! Except when they don’t keep it moving, which often leads to a Mole infestation. With the capability of each mole digging 100 feet per day, erosion tends to occur, causing the soil to settle, in yet an unsettling way. On a property where children are running around, it is best to treat, remove, and prevent any Mole from having a field day on your flat surface!

Getting rid of moles is an undertaking that involves identifying active tunnels and setting traps. While this might sound easy, several factors make it more difficult. You’ll see tunnels that are close to the surface, but the moles also spend much of their time digging deeper. The animals themselves are challenging to find since they rarely venture out of their tunnel systems.

Mole extermination isn’t usually a DIY project—save yourself the headache and call in the pros. Even for us, a full eradication may take persistence. It involves monitoring the moles’ activity, coming up with a custom game plan, finding the tunnels currently being used, and setting traps appropriately.

Don’t bother with over the counter mole-control methods or products; they rarely deliver the promised result. High frequencies emitted from certain devices won’t chase them away, mole-repellents applied to lawns are ineffective since moles live underground, and targeting the moles’ food sources with insecticides does more harm than good.
