Many of my clients ask me for tips on how they can improve their overall health and bodily functions. My short answer is to start by reducing stress and improving your sleep and circadian rhythm. If your sleep cycles are way off and or you having difficulty sleeping at night, none of your bodies systems are functioning at full capacity. Over time this can lead to a lot of health problems.
This video is a summary and explanation of Standford University's professor of neuroscientist and ophthalmology, Andrew Huberman's, best advise for resetting your circadian rhythm. I reccomend his podcast called Huberman lab on spotify if you'd like to learn even more.

Lets talk Myofascial Release. I apply a mix of modalities in my Integrative Bodywork sessions. MFR being one of them. This is likely the most useful tool in my proverbial basket. So when fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports all cells in our body; best visualized as the thin membrane surrounding a chicken breast, becomes restricted, it can create pressure on pain sensitive structures. The fascial system surounds all cells, nerves, blood vessels, muscles, etc. And has a tensile strength of up to 1000 lbs per square inch. NO JOKE. That's a strong hold on your tissues. No wonder it's so painful! With the principles and techniques I learned from the John f. BARNES seminars these fascial adhesions can be released in a gentle, non traumatic way. Feel free to dm me if you have questions or would like to learn more.
