Please help us welcome Heather Lewis, DNP, FNP-C, to the PremierMD3 team!👏🏻

Heather Lewis is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who believes the best healthcare begins with listening. Her approach is grounded in respect for each person's individual experiences, priorities, and goals, with a strong emphasis on patient autonomy and shared decision-making.

With a diverse nursing background spanning pediatrics, women's health, hospice, community health, and care for medically complex patients, Heather brings a broad perspective to family medicine. She values looking beyond a diagnosis or set of symptoms to understand the whole person and the many factors that influence health and well-being.

Heather earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Valley State University. She is committed to evidence-based, individualized care and believes patients should be active partners in decisions about their health. Her goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed choices that align with their own lives and values.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys traveling, taking her car to local road course racetracks, and spending time with her two children. She is proud to call the Lakeshore home and looks forward to caring for individuals and families in the community where she grew up.
