5/26: the teens move outside!! 🐣🤎🧡☀️

6 Welsummer (2 roos, 4 hens & named Grey’s Anatomy names) & 8 BCM (unsexed) will spend the next 9-10 weeks in the “quarantine area” before moving to the “condos.”

The only BCM that I KNOW is a roo is 💛💜…the rest are still keeping me guessing!! They are 5 1/2 weeks old…what do you think?? Roos or hens on those 8 BCMs??

Once I know for sure I can name them!! 🙌🏻 This group will be getting Shield of Sparrows names…think Odessa, Evie, Freya, Mae, Caspia, Xandra, Thora, Devney, Perry, Sparrow, Starling, Quentis 👏🏻👏🏻📚🤓

Something pretty cool happened yesterday (5/23)…one of our hens hatched a baby chick! I’ve never let them do this on their own before and it was such a fun surprise last night!! Butterscotch is a mother 🥰 One of Miracle’s eggs was pipped too…I have not checked since…but once this monsoon stops I will be out there checking again!! So fun 🐣

Miss Mae is 1 week old today!! Born at 10:15pm last Wednesday night 🩷🐐

She now weighs 6lbs, 9.8oz (⬆️ 1lb 14.5oz since birth)!! She is not missing a meal!! 💪🏼

Tri-color, moon spots, blue eyes, polled and heart markings up & down her back 🤎🤎 She is perfect!!

This exact dozen (plus eggstras) is available this week!! BCM, Welsummer & BCOE. Don’t put that incubator away yet!! There’s still time for some gorgeous chicks 🤎🧡💚🐣 PM for details!!
