David joined the PE team in February as a Mechanical Design Engineer
He has experience in design and machining complex parts, specifically in the medical device industry
David also has a personal 3D printer he enjoys using to create projects for his friends, family and for his cats
David also enjoys traveling and spending time outside with his wife

We have some new faces at Perception Engineering!
Scott has been with us since November and has already become an essential part of the team.
Scott Tompsett is a West Michigan native and a graduate of Ferris State University. He has been working in the automotive and automation industry for over 15 years as a project engineer and project manager.
In his free time, he enjoys time with his family and working on dirt bike projects. Scott started riding when he was 8 and he has had a variety of bikes in the garage ever since.

Our Story
Perception Engineering, LLC works to provide customers with start to finish design assistance. Whether your project is still just an idea in your head or you are ready to send the part to manufacturing, we can help.
Our Engineers are experienced in Machine Design, Manufacturing Support and New Product Development. They can create 3-D solidmodels, detailed prints or assemblies depending on your needs. Our team strives to build relationships with your team to ensure we operate as an extension of your current staff and is able to provide support either on-site, remotely or a combination of the two.
We have also developed a supply chain network to provide a complete solution from design to delivery and installation of the final project/assembly.
