It’s always a thrill for us to put a significant challenge in front
of our dedicated donors, but once again I was positively
overwhelmed by your remarkable response to our call to raise
$55,000 for a new bus to transport our beloved participants.

Within a matter of just a few short weeks, the checks and
pledges came pouring in, and we quickly reached our goal,
allowing us to purchase a sparkling and beautiful new bus.

It is already in service and many of our participants are now
enjoying a fresh and comfortable ride from their residence to the
front door of The Little Red House, where they will experience a
day of compassionate care, a healthy lunch and snacks, and life-enriching socialization.

We’re very proud of the new wheels (and extremely grateful for
the respite from high maintenance fees required to keep our old
bus road-worthy). I’m also proud to be leading an organization
that is so deeply and widely valued by our community.

As always, I thank you most sincerely for your generous hearts
and hands when it comes to the needs of The Little Red House.
You kept us moving forward as the premier adult day care
service for so many in Ottawa and Muskegon counties.

You’ve taught me so much about living in a community with such
a loving and generous spirit.
