🤖 Your kid’s robot gets a “mission” — sort objects by sensor!

At our robotics table, we challenge families to bring a real-world mission. Our students design a robot that can sort using color/light/ultrasonic sensors, then run test after test like real scientists.

Each round turns into a mini STEM investigation: hypothesis → build → measure → revise. That means they leave with a reusable process—not just a finished bot.

Sink-or-float mystery… so unfair? 🧪

We love this one because it turns a “random test” into real science questions. Kids set up a challenge in the sink with household items—then we hide the “rule” by only allowing them to choose *one* variable (size, shape, or item material) before testing.

As families swipe through our steps, they’ll see how we coach self-paced scientists to ask better questions: What changes? What stays the same? What do we predict next?
