Time flies! It feels like just yesterday that I was designing these adorable, girly, sparkly bathrooms for two little girls right before the world changed.

As an interior designer, I strive to create spaces that evolve with families. I’ve always known that children grow up fast, but it’s truly eye-opening to see how quickly that time passes. These bathrooms were not just spaces; they were crafted to be a part of cherished memories and milestones.

Here’s to the beautiful journey of growing up and the spaces that hold our stories.

Thrilled to share this under-the-stairs wine room I designed for my client's stunning new custom home! This space perfectly combines functionality and style, showcasing their wine collection in a unique and elegant way.

The glass door adds a modern touch, while the warm wood accents create a cozy atmosphere. I loved incorporating the herringbone flooring, which adds character and charm to the entryway.

Cheers to creating beautiful spaces!🥂

Plot Twist: It IS easy to go green!

From soft moss and sage to deeper, moodier greens, this color brings warmth, depth, and a calm, spa-like feel without overwhelming the space. When paired with the right materials and used intentionally, green tile acts more like a modern neutral than a bold design risk.

The key is placement and balance. Showers, niches, and statement walls are where green tile shines the most. Pair it with warm wood, stone surfaces, and simple hardware, and it will age beautifully for years.

If you want a bathroom that feels current now and timeless later, green tile is a trend worth considering.

This past year has been a journey of rediscovery for me. I’ve reignited my passion for cooking, something I struggled to enjoy for a long time. Now, I’m finding joy in even the simplest recipes! I’ve been diving into one recipe at a time from my cookbooks. With all the rainy weather lately, I craved soup and salad—a combo that might seem unusual for summer, but this one just felt right. 🌧️🥗🍲✨

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup🍋

1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 cup diced white onion
½ cup chopped carrots
½ cup diced celery
6 cups chicken stock
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
3 large egg yolks
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast
1½ cups cooked orzo
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
½ cup crumbled feta, for garnish
¼ cup minced fresh parsley, for garnish
Lemon wedges, for garnish

1. In a large soup pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, and celery and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 6 minutes.
2. Add the chicken stock and lemon juice, bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 30 minutes.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg yolks until lighter in color. While whisking constantly, slowly ladle 2 cups of the hot broth, one at a time, into the yolks. (If the broth is poured in too quickly, the eggs will curdle and will no longer be usable.)
4. Add the yolk mixture, chicken, orzo, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir to combine and simmer on medium-low until heated through, 5 minutes.
5. Serve immediately, topped with crumbled feta and minced parsley and garnished with a lemon wedge per serving.
6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. When reheating, add more chicken stock, as the orzo may have absorbed much of the broth.

1 fresh pineapple (chilled)
1 cucumber (chilled)
8 peppadews
Fresh Parsley
Feta Cheese

1. Cut pineapple into small chunks
2. Slice cucumber into thin slices
3. Quarter the peppadews
4. Toss together and garnish with parsley and feta cheese.

Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
