Look closely to the switch on the left. The issue reported was that when this switch was operated, the circuit breaker tripped. That bare copper ground was left dangerously close to the terminal. This was a careless install that probably worked fine for years until it finally arced from hot to ground and created a mini weld. From that point on, the switch would always trip the breaker. Moved the ground away from the terminal and reset, all is well.
