CYCLE Houston is excited to welcome Seven Del Lincoln to our 2026 summer intern cohort. Seven joins us as a Data Analyst through our ongoing partnership with the UHD Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning, which offers roles for the UHD Community Engagement Summer 2026 Internship Program, a collaboration designed to prepare UHD Gators for meaningful professional roles in Houston’s nonprofit ecosystem. Together, we’re helping students build real-world experience while strengthening the impact of CYCLE’s literacy program across the region.

Seven demonstrates a strong commitment to student success at the University of Houston-Downtown, where he served at the UHD Gator Resource Center to ensure students have the tools, support, and community they need. He fostered academic excellence as an SI Leader with UHD Supplemental Instruction and in K-12 learning community initiatives at St. Charles de Borromeo Catholic Church. Seven brings a sharp analytical mindset, interdisciplinary training, and a passion for community well-being to his role as a data analyst.

He shares more about his background and what inspires his work:

"Hello, world! Seven Del Lincoln here. I am a junior at the University of Houston-Downtown, majoring in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Bioinformatics. I have a knack for data and technology, along with a desire to improve public health, protect nature, and strengthen the communities surrounding Houston.

Outside of school, I enjoy building terrariums and ecosystems and caring for my aquatic frogs. My role at CYCLE will be helping organize, clean, and interpret data as a data analyst. I am excited to contribute to work that has a meaningful impact on the Houston community."

Seven’s work will help CYCLE deepen our understanding of program reach, strengthen data systems, and support the continued growth of our literacy and youth development initiatives.

Teamwork at Continuous puts the pedal to the mission! You may have seen these bikes in their assembled form in your local libraries as prize incentives for Unearth a Story free summer reading programs.

Thanks to the generosity and hands-on spirit of Continuous, more Houston kids will roll into summer ready to read, explore, and thrive. Their corporate bike build with CYCLE Houston directly fuels Bike to the Library programs, giving young readers the wheels and inspiration they need to stay active, beat the summer slide, and stay on track for the start of the school year.

CYCLE Houston's Bike to the Library program helps kids stay active, stay reading, and stay ahead of the summer slide. 🚲“Summer slide” refers to the learning loss that can occur when children are out of school, roughly 17% to 28% of their reading gains, but our partnership with local libraries provides bikes to motivate young readers throughout the summer.

This year’s free Unearth a Story summer reading programs, offered by Houston Public Library, Harris County Public Library, Pasadena Public Library, TX, and Fort Bend County Libraries, run through the end of July, pairing the power of reading with the joy of riding, across the region.

When you see a CYCLE bike in your local library, know that your support is motivating young learners to build confidence, strengthen skills, and stay on track for a strong start to the school year. Together, let’s help students beat the summer slide!

Gina joins CYCLE Houston as a creative content intern through the UHD 2026 Community Engagement Summer Internship Program, offered by the UHD Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning, bringing a strong background in nonprofit development, digital communications, and student success advocacy.

An Interdisciplinary Studies major, with minors in Public Policy and Administration and Communications Studies, she has spent the past decade supporting mission-driven organizations through storytelling, donor engagement, and community-centered programming.

As a Gator Success Institute Student Success Ambassador and Tau Sigma Honor Society president at the University of Houston–Downtown, she champions equity, confidence building, and academic achievement, values that align closely with CYCLE’s commitment to helping students thrive.

She is excited to support CYCLE's mission by creating content that celebrates students’ hard work and strengthens community engagement.
