The pups had their day, and the water was the star of the show.

Toys floating, tennis balls flying, tails going nonstop. A few brave first-timers testing the water with one paw before deciding it was worth it. A couple of veterans who dove in like they'd been counting down all summer.

By the end, we had a whole lot of wet dogs and a whole lot of tired dogs, which is exactly the goal.

Thanks to everyone who brought their best four-legged friend out. We'll do it again.
