Gooooooodddddddd Morning!!!! Guess what today is…it’s Motivation Monday

But God: The Bible's Best Words

“But” is my favorite word in the Bible. Throughout Scripture we see “but God,” or “but Christ,” or “but when…” Something was lost, but now it’s found. Someone was dead, but is now alive. A person was blind, but now can see. There was no way, but God made a way.

The word “but” in Scripture often introduces the message of the gracious and compassionate intervention of God. This simple term captures the nature of our God. He redeems, resurrects, and makes all things new. All seems lost and then we hear, “but God.” He intervenes. He saves.

Life is beset with struggles, but His children will ALWAYS be able to testify of incredible "But God" moments in their lives.

There are 31 Bible verses which will remind us that our circumstances DO NOT get the last word.

The enemy DOES NOT get the last word.

Death and disease DO NOT get the last word.

Because there is always, always, always a BUT GOD.

We hope this tee will serve as a reminder of these truths and encourage you to endure until you experience your "But God" moment!!!!

If this message motivated you to keep pushin as Bun B would say, hit that ❤️ button.

Speak life, choose happy and keep pushin until your But God moment comes through!!!!!

It’s Friyaaaaayyyyy:

As we prepare for Saturday and Sunday let’s spend a few moments identifying ways to renew our hearts, minds and souls....keep reading for 5 Ways to Speak Life to your Soul!

1. Bless the Lord, O my soul…Psalms 103:1-2

We must tell ourselves to not forget all of the blessings he has bestowed on us. Praise the Lord!

2. Find rest in God, O my soul…Psalms 62:5

The word rest in this passage means to be quiet and still. Like the troubled waters that were stirred the day Jesus calmed the raging sea of Galilee, we must speak life to our hearts and allow Jesus to quiet our anxious and weary souls.

3. Seek his face!

Nestled in the 27th chapter of Psalm, David is once again not only speaking to God but to himself:

During those tough moments when we want to give up, we must speak to ourselves and over ourselves.

4. Put your hope in God…Psalms 42:5

We are sometimes flooded with emotions that we may not always understand. We must identify the root of our emotions and see if how we are feeling lines up with the truth of God’s Word. From the heart the man speaks, so when our emotions are not in alignment with his word, we must think and speak life so that we can bring those emotions into alignment.

5. Be at rest once more, O my soul…Psalm 116:7

Once again, we must tell ourselves to be at rest. It is definitely an on-going conversation. I know that for me I need daily reminders to find my rest, hope and trust in God.

The sea billows will roll, and the oceans will surge, but our God is bigger than the waves. Because he is our ever-present help in trouble, we must learn to say to ourselves, it is well with my soul, EVEN in those times when we don’t feel that way!
