Today is the last day to pre-order anything from our Mother's Day menu. Cutoff is midnight tonight, and after that, we're heads-down in the kitchen for the next five days getting everything ready for pickup May 5 to 10.

Mini Cakes
(that don't have to be shared)

A confession from a mom of two: when I order myself a slice of cake, I do not actually want to share it.

This is one of those small, slightly petty truths that I think a lot of moms quietly hold. We share everything else all year. The last fry, the back seat, the shower, the bed, the snack we packed for ourselves and somehow ended up giving to a small person making sad eyes at us. So when Mother's Day comes around, can the cake just be… hers?

That's what our Mini Cakes ($16 to $60) were designed for. Personal-size. Fully decorated. Beautifully layered.

Nobody else's name is on it, even metaphorically.

We're doing four flavors this year:

Red Velvet with Raspberries: Tart raspberries against the rich red velvet, the kind of cake you'd want to eat with coffee at 8am or wine at 8pm.

Mango Cake: Bright, tropical, slightly underrated. A quiet favorite among our regulars.

Vanilla with Berries: The best of every world, layered into something that's hard to describe and easy to finish.

Chocolate Praline: Rich, decadent, southern.

Available in 1-ct (just for her) up to 4-ct (her plus three other very lucky people).

Pair one with a Macaron Gift Set ($15) or the new Macaron Fraisier ($14) and you've put together the prettiest gift on the table without trying that hard.
