Like so many people, I grew tired of worrying how the bills would get paid every month and being so angry that so often more month was left at the end than money.
I grew tired of working jobs I didn’t really enjoy, and that I knew would never create the life I wanted and deserved for my family. I knew there was something better than just settling into a job and having to mold our lives around the income I was forced to accept rather than deciding the income I knew I was worth and building around that. Who says we are supposed to just settle? Who says we're supposed to just simply survive and not THRIVE?? Who says we're supposed to just 'suck it up' and 'pay our dues' while life flies by while we watch?? Complacency is poison I tell ya!
But there was nothing worse than going to bed every night with the feeling that what I was reaching for, felt so far away. I didn't know where to go to get the knowledge and support that I sought until...
I don't think most of us are born with the built-in ability (or courage) to know that we are made for better, greatness, or that we have better choices of what we want to do for a living to support our families. Most of us are brought up in an environment of conventional wisdom that just screams "go to school and get an education so we can get some kind of job and settle on whatever kind of lifestyle we are forced to accept". I mean, yes I sold kool-aid and chips from my front yard when I was probably 8 and yes I mowed lawns for party money when I was a teenager but the click in my head didn't really click until I got lucky. I saw an opportunity to learn about a different way of thinking. So I decided to do something about it.
After several conversations with a very entrepreneurial Uncle-in-law I grew very interested and intrigued with the whole "build a business thing" and began sticking to him like glue pretty much and learning all I could about business and sales. So that's what started my 1st real business experience. I didn't do well enough to retire early..(hardly!) but believe it or not, the decision alone did wonders for me. It gave me a feeling of control and hope that I never felt working for somebody else! I'm no genius by any stretch of the imagination but what I do bring to the table is a high tolerance for challenge and the ability to stand back up after life pops me in the mouth. It's happened many times over the last several years but as a result of that I have been able to learn so much about better thinking and resilience. I've learned that I'm not afraid to fail and as a consequence to that, experienced a fair share of failures BUT of course also realized many fantastic rewards...
Honestly though, the failures still hurt pretty bad but there was still something pulling at me to keep going, to keep pushing, to keep learning, to keep believing, to keep striving, keep praying, to keep.. getting back up.
And now I know why. When my search for the right type of business for my mentality and my aptitude finally hit me, I had the epiphany I was subconsciously looking for.
Working from home as our own boss and doing what we're doing has been an absolute blessing and getting better the harder we work at it!
Our journey and our mentors have taught us how to work smarter, rather than work harder..(still learning every day of course) I've finally realized the business for me that creates the potential for us to generate an income that is good for my family AND (this is the kicker) has the least moving parts from everything I've done in the past. It’s helping us make more, and at the same time create more time to enjoy it. It provides us with an opportunity to meet people just like you, and ASSIST you to create the life and lifestyle you dream about by supporting you and sharing our experience along the way. We are nowhere near our goals but we are definitely moving in the right direction and we know it's not a pipe dream.

Be strong and cut the excuses that may be tying you down, buck up and get to work toward the right type of small business that fits you and start to experience the type of life you know you deserve! Just make sure you don't try to go at it all by yourself!
Even if you choose not to contact us PLEASE keep reading, keep exploring, keep praying for the ability to recognize some kind of opportunity that you can pounce on and put effort into.. but if you find that your efforts fall short for that particular one, DO NOT give up! Do like I did and get the heck back up, focus a little harder and get back into the ring and say "next!"
By the way-one last thing you may not already know- Courage is not going to battle with the absence of FEAR, courage is the ability to head into battle IN SPITE of our fear..
