With holiday lights being put up and out, Christmas trees not getting properly watered, and heaters being set to close to flammable objects, fire are bound to occur. Praying everyone stays safe this winter.

Believe it or not, the insurance company brings out and/or recommends their water and fire restoration technicians who are more likely to handle the claim that benefits the insurance company. I would rather help people get properly restored than to see four weeks down the road getting hired and explaining how furniture should have been trashed rather than stored and “cleaned.” Storage and “cleaning” takes money from the personal property coverage limit leaving you with reduced, little, or no monies to buy replacement items. Four weeks later, there will be no additional removal of damaged material, such as drywall or cabinetry.
