Congratulations to Ava Bessette, recipient of the 2026 Kailee Mills Foundation Scholarship Award! đź’š
Ava's words beautifully capture the heart of this scholarship:
"This scholarship represents something so much bigger than money. It represents lives, memories, and the importance of protecting the people around us."
The KMF Scholarship Program honors students who demonstrate leadership, character, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. By investing in future leaders, we continue to spread Kailee's legacy of awareness, education, and saving lives.
We are proud to support students like Ava as they pursue their goals and create meaningful change in the world.
Congratulations, Ava! We can't wait to see all that you accomplish. ✨

Today we honor Craig as one of Kailee’s Angels.
He was known for his smile, his kindness, and the way he showed up for others as a true friend. He was deeply loved by his family and missed by all who knew him.
Craig gained his wings on August 22, 2015. Craig and some of his friends were out in a land clearing off a backroad having a bonfire. When leaving, he and one of his buddies got into his Toyota truck. Neither of them were buckled up and they lost control of the vehicle, causing them to drive up an embankment and flip the truck. Craig was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene from major head trauma.
We share his name and his memory to encourage one simple message that can save lives: always buckle up, every time.
Every life is valuable. đź’š
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” Revelation 21:4
Road safety isn't just about statistics. It's about real people and real stories. đź’š
Stories like these remind us why awareness matters—and why simple choices, like wearing your seatbelt correctly every ride, can make a difference.
During the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer, we're encouraging everyone to take road safety seriously and protect themselves and the people they love.
One reminder.
One conversation.
One choice.
Buckle up. Every ride. Every time. đźš—

Summer road trips are in full swing—long drives, full cars, and new destinations with the people we love 💚
A few simple, proven safety habits can significantly reduce risk before and during every trip:
• Buckle up every passenger—front and back seats
• Check that seatbelts fit snugly across hips and shoulders
• Secure all loose items so they don’t become projectiles in sudden stops
• Limit distractions by setting navigation and music before driving
• Take breaks every 2 hours on longer drives to prevent fatigue
• Make sure every passenger understands seatbelt use is non-negotiable.
Help us spread awareness this summer—one reminder at a time 💚

Summer brings more time on the road, more passengers in the car, and more moments where one small choice matters đź’š
As we enter the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer, we’re reminded that this season sees a rise in teen driving risks and preventable crashes. Awareness is the first step toward prevention.
Before every drive—no matter how short—pause and reset the basics:
seatbelts on, phones down, and full attention on the road.
It only takes seconds.
But those seconds can change everything.
Help us spread this reminder throughout the 100 Deadliest Days—safety starts with one choice. Buckle UP!
