The Time Is NOW — $12.70 a Month Can Change Everything!
Educators,
What happened at this weeks school board meeting should have made one thing crystal clear: we are out of time.
Our public schools are under attack. Our students are being failed. And if we don't act right now, we are watching the slow, deliberate march back toward segregation — and we cannot let that happen.
That's why we are rallying behind Michelle Williams for the Texas House of Representatives.
Michelle is committed to:
✅ Removing Mike Morath and Mike Miles from positions of power over our children
✅ FULLY funding public education — no more half-measures, no more excuses
✅ Fighting for every student, every classroom, and every teacher in Texas
This is our moment. And it starts with YOU.
We are asking every teacher to donate just $12.70 a month. Less than a few lunches. But together? It is a movement.
💥 $12.70 x teachers like YOU = the power to take back our schools.
There is no more waiting. There is no more "maybe next election." The time is NOW.
Donate $12.70 today and stand with Michelle Williams — because our kids deserve a House member who stands with them. Link in comments.

Public education in Texas is in crisis, and we need to talk about it.

My name is Michelle Williams. I'm a former Houston ISD teacher, and I've seen the destruction firsthand. Here’s what’s happening:

- A flawed system (Senate Bill 571) is pushing innocent, dedicated teachers out of our classrooms without due process.
- State-led takeovers are causing chaos in districts like Houston ISD, Fort Worth, and Beaumont, leading to massive staff turnover.
- In Houston ISD alone, 10,000 employees have left in a single year since the state takeover.
- The U.S. Department of Education has now opened a federal civil rights investigation into Houston ISD's plan to segregate over 5,000 students with disabilities.

This isn't reform—it's the systematic dismantling of our public schools, driven by state leadership.

I'm running for State Representative in District 127 because our children and teachers deserve better. We need representatives who will stand up and fight to stop this destruction. It's time to invest in our future, not tear it down.

Join me in demanding accountability and real investment in our public schools. Our kids are counting on us.

This is how we flip HD127.
I’m so grateful to have the support of leaders, neighbors, and community members who care deeply about our schools, our families, and our future.
This campaign is about taking that energy and turning it into real change for our district. We’ve got momentum, but flipping this seat is going to take all of us.
Chip in. Volunteer. Spread the word. Talk to your neighbors. Let’s flip HD127 together.
