Boots on the Ground Still Works

One thing about Mark… he believes in actually working the pavement.

Not sitting behind a desk staring at lists all day. Not waiting for a deal to magically pop up online. He believes in driving neighborhoods, knocking on doors, and talking to people.

Funny enough, today we weren’t even out looking for houses.

We were just running an errand picking up jackets for Mark and Arnie Newton. Nothing real estate related at all. But while we were driving, Mark spotted a house that made him slow down and take a second look.

That’s the thing about being out in the community. When you’re paying attention, opportunities show up where you least expect them.

So we pulled over, took a closer look, and started asking questions.

Sometimes the best deals don’t come from the internet.
They come from conversations and paying attention to the neighborhood.
