As we continue to honor Black History Month, today we are featuring the talented Kennedie Daniel, painter and sculptor from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Kennedie uses her art to navigate the world and personal relationships. A 2020 graduate of The University of Arkansas, her work embodies emotion and color, with each portrait reflecting a mix of feelings and raw, natural expression. Through acrylics and textured techniques, she embraces imperfection, allowing her figures to speak to both herself and others.

Continuamos celebrando el mes de herencia afroamericana y hoy les presentamos a la talentosa Kennedie Daniel, pintora y escultora de Fayetteville, Arkansas. Kennedie utiliza su arte para navegar por el mundo y las relaciones personales. Graduada en 2020 de la Universidad de Arkansas, su trabajo encarna emoción y color, y cada retrato refleja una mezcla de sentimientos y expresión cruda y natural. A través de acrílicos y técnicas texturizadas, abraza la imperfección, permitiendo que sus figuras hablen tanto con ella misma como con los demás.
