We want to make you aware of a concerning scam that’s been going around. Scammers are pretending to be Bail Bond Agents or employees for the local Sheriff’s office. They claim they can get your loved one released for a certain amount of money and sometimes even say you need to pay for an ankle monitor first. They can sound really convincing and have somehow managed to get personal information like phone numbers and addresses.

Also, some of these scammers have called clients after their release, threatening to send them back to jail if they don’t pay up. We will never ask for more than the usual 10% premium plus the $80 state/jail fee, and any additional cash collateral will be discussed upfront.

And remember, we’ll never ask for payment through cryptocurrency, Walmart debit cards, or over the phone. All payments are done in person.
