Before the new fabric, foam, and details can happen, everything has to come off first — layer by layer until all that’s left is the bare frame.
Thousands of staples, old fabric, worn padding, and years of history stripped down to the wood so we can rebuild it the right way. 🔨🪑
This part may not be glamorous, but it’s one of the most important steps in upholstery. A solid foundation makes all the difference in the final result. Stay tuned to see this chair brought back to life.

One little upholstery trick that saves a lot of measuring. 👌✂️
Instead of spending extra time trying to map out every angle, I used a sewing technique that helped this arm corner line up clean and smooth with less guesswork.
This is one of those details most people never notice… but upholsterers definitely will. 😄
