Glaziers Local 1009

Last night, nearly 150 members came together to celebrate a major milestone — the 30th Anniversary of Glaziers Local Union 1009, proudly chartered on March 1, 1996.

Following our membership meeting, we recognized the dedication and commitment of our brothers and sisters with a 25+ Years of Service Pin Ceremony, honoring more than 30 members for their years of service to our Local and our industry.

The evening was made possible through the hard work of our staff, executive board, officers, delegates, and volunteers, who helped organize and host a tremendous event. Members enjoyed fresh wood-fired pizza from Palleschi’s Catering, while volunteers kept the grills going with burgers and hot dogs. To top it all off, Mr. Softee stopped by to provide dessert for everyone in attendance.

Thank you to every member who joined us to celebrate our history, our accomplishments, and the generations of glaziers who have built Local 1009 into what it is today.

Here’s to the last 30 years—and the next 30 years of strength, solidarity, and craftsmanship.
